National Park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici
Located between the counties of Pallars Sobirà, La Vall dÀran, l'Alta Ribagorça and Pallars Jussà, is the only existing National Park in the region of Catalonia.

Its extension is 14.119 hectares, plus the peripheral protected area (27.000 ha), and it's divided in two sectors: Aigüestortes entering and Sant Maurici.

Protected vegetation and wild animals, high mountains up to 3.000m and more than 200 lakes, allowing many different types and levels of excursions, are some of the arguments for which you must visit it.

This is an eco-system alive and changing with every year season, therefore every time you visit it, you will find something new and exciting.
